Center for Globalization Studies
The main objective of the Center for Globalization of the Liberalni Institute is to follow developments of both economic and more widely defined globalization and to participate in the related debate.
The center aims at analyzing current and alternative governmental policies that are intended to support economic growth or to mitigate global inequality. At the same time, we want to highlight contribution of entrepreneurial action towards poverty alleviation and provision of services to the poor. Our goal is also to point out the importance of transnational companies in rapid spreading of ideas and innovations.
The Center of Globalization therefore plans to focus its attention on:
- Entrepreneurial solutions for poverty alleviation
- International trade and lifting of barriers for over-boundary cooperation
- Economics of institutional change and transformation
- Drivers of efficient international trade
